Megisti–Kaş Navigation Briefing 2026
A pre-race open-water navigation session conducted from sea level.
Hosted by RunToSwim.
NAVIGATION CLARITY BEFORE RACE DAY
Most Swimmers Train Hard.
Few Understand the Navigation.
Every year, athletes arrive physically prepared —
but navigationally unprepared.
They rely on maps.
They rely on race briefings.
They rely on assumptions.
Open water does not reward assumptions.
This session removes navigational uncertainty.
You don’t need more fitness.
You need navigation clarity.
Why This Navigation Session Exists
For years, open-water athletes have entered the Megisti–Kaş crossing without structured navigation preparation.
RunToSwim has been independently conducting real-condition course briefings long before “navigation tours” became a trend.
This is not a recreational boat trip.
This is a structured navigation operation.
There is no equivalent structured service consistently delivered in this format.

NAVIGATION FIELD MANUAL INCLUDED
You Don’t Just Attend.
You Receive the Navigation Plan.

ON-COURSE NAVIGATION SESSION

Live operational briefing — 2024 session
THIS IS NOT A WORKSHOP
You step onto the actual race route.
You observe the coastline from swimmer height.
You identify the real sighting references.
You understand how the current behaves across the crossing.
This is where uncertainty disappears.
FINISH ZONE NAVIGATION
The Hardest Part of the Race
Is the Last 500 Meters.
We position the boat directly at the official exit line.
Athletes analyze the final 500 meters from sea level.
Landmarks are defined.
It is executed in real conditions.
Approach alignment is rehearsed.
Race-day stress is reduced before race day begins.
This is not theoretical. This is executed in real conditions. This is navigation clarity.
